Accessing online journal articles

 Click the "View It" button to find links to the full text.     

         

Choose one of the links to access the full text of the article in an online database. If you are off campus, you will be prompted to log in using your Loyola user ID and password.                                                          

 

 

Accessing E-Books

 Click the "View It" button to find links to the full text.     

         

Choose one of the links to access the full text of the e-book. In most cases, you will be prompted to log in using your Loyola user ID and password.                                                          

 

 

Accessing Print Books and Other Physical Materials

Many of the physical items in the library catalog (books, DVDs, journals) can be found on the shelf in one of our library locations.  

Items that are not available on the shelf, such as books that are checked out or being processed, can be requested by logging in to your library account.  You can also have books delivered from one library location to another. Learn more about requesting books here. ​

Click the "Get It" button to learn where the item is located.                  Log in to your library account to request an item or place a hold.

To retrieve an item from the shelf, note the library location and call number.  

Request materials through Interlibrary Loan

When you find a book or article in the library catalog that is not available, you can request the item from another library via Interlibrary Loan. 

First you will need to log in using your Loyola username and password. 

 

After you log in, you can choose to request that the Loyola copy be recalled or put on hold for you, or you can request a copy of the book from another library via Interlibrary Loan.
