Census Bureau
Government agency that produces the United States' demographic data. Below you'll find other useful Census Bureau links.

The Census Bureau also produces reports on certain Ethnic groups:

 

Bureau of Economic Analysis
Includes gross domestic products (GDP) and other economic data from the Bureau of Economics.

Bureau of Labor Statistics
The official website of The Bureau of Labor and Statistics. Allows access to statistics on myriad Employment related subjects.

Consumer Expenditure Survey
This survey focuses upon the buying habits of U.S. consumers, including information on various income, expenditures, and consumer unit (families and single consumers) characteristics.

Economic Census
The 2002 Economic Census includes statistics from nearly all areas of the U.S. economy. There also are several related programs, including statistics on minority- and women-owned businesses. Censuses of agriculture and governments results are included.

Local Area Personal Income
Includes tables that provide over thirty years of historical data.

Metropolitan Area Occupational Employmen and Wage Estimates
Current 2006 edition. Searchable by State and selected cities.

Occupational Employment Statistics
The OES produces employment and wage estimates for over 800 occupations. These are estimates of the number of people employed in certain occupations, and estimates of the wages paid to them. These estimates are available for the nation as a whole, for individual States, and for metropolitan areas; national occupational estimates for specific industries are also available.

OSHA Statistics and Data
Official website for the Department of Occupational Safety and Health. Allows search of SIC codes by keyword.

Statistical Abstract of the United States
Online access to Statistical Abstract of the United States.…we have this at ready reference. Includes statistics on population, communication, transportation, employment, agriculture etc…

Tables for Race and Ethnic Distributions
The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has created tables based on 2000 Census for U.S. states, metropolitan areas and counties.
