Sociology: Tool Focus: Social Explorer

Social Explorer Overview

Social Explorer is a powerful tool for data visualization available to Loyola Faculty, Staff and Students.  This tool allows creation of maps using information from the US Census Bureau and from several independent surveys.  The tool can be used to create maps in various styles that demonstrate the geographic spread of various information such as income, demographic information and quality of life questions.  This page provides a location for instructions on how to use Social Explorer.
