Test Preparation

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer adaptive test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as a Master of Business Administration program. The GMAT is the standardized test that is most widely accepted at Graduate Business Schools.

Not all schools require the exam; check the admissions requirements at each graduate program where you plan to apply. There are both remote and test center options.

The Graduate Record Examination, or GRE, is an important step in the graduate school or business school application process. The GRE is a multiple-choice, computer-based, standardized exam that is often required for admission to graduate programs and graduate business programs (MBA) globally.

Please note that not all graduate programs require the GRE or another standardized test. Visit the admissions page of the program you would like to attend to figure out what test, if any, is required of that program. Students must register for the test in advance. There are both remote and test center options.

The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a standardized test administered by the Law School Administration Council (LSAC) for prospective law school candidates. It is designed to assess reading comprehension as well as logical and verbal reasoning proficiency.

Most law schools require the LSAT for application. Please check the admissions requirements at each program before registering for the exam. All those wishing to take the LSAT must register for the exam. There are both remote and test center options.

The Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) is a computer-based standardized examination for prospective medical students in the United States, Australia, Canada, and the Caribbean Islands. It is designed to assess problem solving, critical thinking, written analysis and knowledge of scientific concepts and principles. It is developed and administered by the AAMC.

Almost all US medical schools require the MCAT exam. Before taking the exam, please consult the admissions requirement of each program to which you plan to apply. Students must register for the exam prior to taking it, and must take it at the facility mandated by the MCAT authorities.
