E-Books - new: Home

The Libraries have a large collection of books available in electronic format.  We use a number of different vendors to  provide ebooks, depending on the availability of titles.  The vendors and ways we purchase them,  result in different access and functionality.  Below are the ebook collections we use, please see their instructions and policies. Be advised that not all books, particularly text books, are available as ebooks

Individual ebook titles and sets can be found in the Library Discovery system.

Where can I find e-books?

The LUC Libraries provides access to several different e-book collections. Not all e-book titles are searchable in one online resource but many are in the catalog.

  • Catalog
To find e-books, enter search terms as normal. Once you receive your search results, you may use the filters in the left column to limit to e-books.  Under Show Only select Full Text Online, and under Resource Type select Books. Then, for any title, click the View Online button to access a link to view the full text.

Looking for an e-book that the LUC Libraries do not currently have? Please use the Purchase Request form and select "Book/E-book" in the Resource Type field and "electronic" in the Preferred Format field.
