Google Scholar is a fine place to start research, but be sure to use it through the LUC site so the journals that we subscribe to will give you the article free.
Introduction
Many subject areas on Italy are well covered in the English language, but not all. It can be a real challenge when your topic is off the well beaten academic trail. Use these pages as a starting point and check the other subject guides as well. The city of Rome is part of the curriculum here, so check the tabs for research suggestions in different areas as well as information on Roman logistics.
Libraries in Rome
Rome is home to amazing historic collections and libraries. If you cannot find what you are looking for in the LUC libraries' holdings, search through these catalogs. We have established library privileges with most of these libraries, but sometimes they require patrons to use materials on site. Once you have located what you need, we will help you contact that library and proceed.
