2021 Library Access

The Information Commons and Lewis Library are open to current students, faculty, and staff for individual quiet study and contactless pickup. Lewis Library will be closed weekends until further notice. Most library services will continue to be available online.

For health and safety reasons, the University Libraries cannot provide study space or access to public computers to Loyola alumni and community members until further notice. Appointments will be considered only in exceptional circumstances and access is at the sole discretion of the University Libraries. Please email to request an appointment.

Who Are Alumni?

A graduate is defined as a person who has received a degree from Loyola University Chicago or any of its related institutions; a former student is defined as a person who was enrolled for at least one semester. Former students and alumni have different benefits.

Alumni Library Benefits

Alumni Cards and the privileges associated with them are granted to alumni who are graduates of the University and alumni of the John Felice Rome Center. For more information and to request a card use, click the link below.
