If you need to find additional secondary sources beyond materials available in the Theology and Religion databases, consider using Academic Search Complete. Academic Search Complete allows your to search for sources that span multiple disciplines without getting too many irrelevant results. Similar to the subject-specific databases, you can use features within Academic Search Complete to refine your results.

Most library online resources will have a permalink (also known as a stable URL or document URL) that you can use to link directly to sources by using a special URL that will prompt for your UVID username and password when off-campus. Since the library licenses databases and other online resources, this is also a way to authenticate authorized users.
Permalinks links will be indicated by a chain link icon. See examples below.

Sometimes, you may have a DOI or other stable URL that does not include the special URL that you need to authenticate access to these resources. You will then need to manually create the permalink in these cases. See the instructions below for creating a permalink.
To create a permalink to library resources when you only have a DOI or Stable URL (JSTOR):

You can also use the Flagship URL prefix to create a permalink. Add http://flagship.luc.edu/login?url= in front of the URL that you're trying to create a permalink for. Copy and paste the new link into your document. See the example below:
