Groups

In reference manager, Groups are a shared folder in which you can share files or references with your collaborators. On the web, Groups are community spaces where you can discuss the latest research and stay up-to-date with your group's activity.

There are different group types to support different needs, find out more below.

  • Private groups are for sharing full text articles with up to 25 collaborators. Members can use annotations and comments on the PDFs to engage in collaborative reading. This is great for project work or journal clubs.
  • Public groups are great for open research dialog and sharing lists of references. Anyone can join a public group and there are no member limits.
  • Invite-only are similar to public groups, but to join the group and post content to it you need an existing member to invite you. Invite-only groups are suited to situations where you want everyone to be able to read the group feed and see the group's documents, but you don't want just anyone to be able to update the group.
