Generalist librarians offer particularly helpful guidance with online source identification and access.
This guide is designed to help middle and high school students explore civic and social issues through research. 1. Identify a community issue that matters to YOU.
2. Understand how public policy affects local problems.
3. Learn how to evaluate information using the SIFT method.
4. Begin developing a youth-led action plan, which you’ll later turn into a zine or presentation.
