Article Databases are online collections of journal article citations and full-text articles. You can search article databases by keywords, subject headings, authors and more. Academic Search Complete
Full-text articles from journals, magazines, and reference sources that covering a broad range of academic study.

Covers anthropology, astronomy, biology, chemistry, civil engineering, engineering, ethnic & multicultural studies, geology, law, materials science, mathematics, music, pharmaceutical sciences, physics, psychology, religion & theology, veterinary science, women's studies, zoology, and many other fields.
JSTOR
Full-text scholarly journal articles and ebooks related to the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. Coverage: 2-5 years from current.
Project MUSE
Full-text journals covering literature, history, visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, and gender studies. Coverage: 1993 - present.

News Sources are usually newspapers or high frequency magazines that provide current information on topics as they develop. Check out a few popular news sources below.

Chicago Tribune
Includes access to the website and current news updates. Group subscribers are currently unable to access the publication through the mobile application.
New York Times Website
Complete access to the New York Times online edition (nytimes.com) from 1980 through the present. Users must create an account using their LUC email, to gain access to nytimes.com from any web browser or smart phone app, on or off campus, with no monthly limits on article access.
