Book Title:  Victim of Bullying

Why are you volunteering:

As a white woman growing up in low income, multi-racial environment for most of my life, I believe I can help bridge some misunderstandings of race, while bringing light to the old phrase "Don't judge a book by its cover." People assume that my outside appearance tells the story of who I am, when in fact it falls vastly short of my actual experience. Bullying, racism, misogyny, and other abuse were the reality of my experiences. But those are not the end of my tale.

• When did you understand that you were white?
• How does an absent father confuse your feelings of race or culture?
• Who were the most important people to influence your upbringing?
