Evidence Based Practice/Systematic Databases

EBP and systematic reviews can be found in many databases, but some databases specialize in these areas.

Databases of Interest to Social Work

These databases may be helpful for areas of social work research beyond what the Social Work databases can give you.  For example, use the education databases for articles on early childhood development, gangs in schools, school social work and similar topics.  Use the criminal justice databases for inmate counseling, substance abuse articles and effects of family member imprisonment.  Many other topics as well.

Faculty may request other videos for class.   DVDs are listed in the Library catalog and may be requested for contactless pickup. If you have any questions or concerns, please email or call 773.508.6232 (Monday – Friday 9 am – 5pm).
