Library Instruction Classroom Policy: Home

Policy for reserving and using the library instruction classroom at the Information Commons.

The Library Instruction Classroom (Room 120) serves as the primary space for library instruction sessions and IT training workshops. This policy outlines usage guidelines for library staff.

Room Details

Location: First floor of the Information Commons (southwest corner of the building)

Equipment:

  • 24 student PCs
  • Instructor workstation (standard e-classroom configuration)
  • White board and smart board
  • Networked printer with standard print station
  • Extra chairs (space permitting)

Configuration: Fixed rows that cannot be rearranged

Usage Policy

Primary Purpose: Library instruction sessions and IT workshops/training

Scheduling:  Must be approved by Head of Research and Learning Services or Head of Access Services.

Availability: Users without reservations must vacate the room.
