Today's Hours

About the Information Commons

A joint project of the University Libraries and Information Technology Services, the Information Commons (IC) offers both spaces and technology for group study, and comfortable spaces for work, reading, and relaxation. The Information Commons serves as a technology-rich learning hub on the Lake Shore Campus.

Study Spaces and Equipment

You can Reserve a Study Space at the Information Commons.

  • Group Study Rooms: 4- and 6-person rooms are available on 2nd and 3rd floors. Rooms are reservable up to 24 hours in advance, one reservation per day for up to 4 hours.
  • Quiet Study: The third floor is a silent study area.
  • AV equipment is available for checkout from Digital Media Services.
