Annual event celebrating faculty scholarly achievements with registration and submission details.

Loyola president Mark Reed speaking at 2024 Celebration of Faculty Scholarship.This annual event, held each spring, showcases scholarship published by Loyola faculty during the previous calendar year. The Celebration of Faculty Scholarship recognizes the vital role faculty research, creative work, and scholarly engagement play in Loyola’s academic mission and community impact.

Previous celebrations have featured books published by faculty across all schools and departments, interdisciplinary research collaborations, international scholarship and global perspectives, innovation in teaching and pedagogical research, and community-engaged scholarship and social justice work.

Submit Your Scholarship

Faculty who would like their works from the previous calendar year featured in the spring celebration should complete this form by the deadline, usually in mid-March.

What to Submit:

  • Recent publications (books, journal articles, book chapters)
  • Creative works and artistic productions
  • Research projects and grant-funded work
  • Digital scholarship and multimedia projects
  • Conference presentations and posters
  • Works must have been published the previous year to be featured in the spring event
