Access library databases and electronic resources from any location outside the university. Off-campus access requires authentication to verify your current university status.
Access Restrictions
Note: Off-campus access to electronic resources is limited to current Loyola students, faculty, staff, and emeriti. Alumni and visitors cannot access most electronic resources from off-campus, due to publisher licensing agreements.
Health Sciences Division users must authenticate through the Health Sciences Library portal.
Troubleshooting Access Issues
- Verify username and password accuracy (do not append “ @luc.edu ” to your username)
- Test credentials by logging into other Loyola services (email, Sakai)
- If credentials fail across all Loyola services, reset your password using Loyola Password Self-Service . Allow several minutes for password changes to propagate across systems.
- If you do not know your Loyola ID credentials, or they are not working, please contact the ITS Service Desk.
