Loyola faculty, staff, and graduate students have access to the collections of all ACTS member institutions:

An ACTS borrower identification card is required for access to member institutions. To obtain a card, please visit the Lewis Library Circulation Desk or the Cudahy Library Circulation Desk.

If you are planning to visit a Loyola library location from a member institution, please bring your ACTS borrower identification card along with the other items listed in our Access & Usage Policy. Borrowing privileges are the same as for alumni, other reciprocal borrowers, and community guests. Please see Borrowing & Renewals for details.

Association of Jesuit Colleges & Universities

Faculty have access to the collections of all AJCU member institutions:

A Jesuit Library borrower identification card is required for access to member institutions. To obtain a card, please visit the Cudahy Library Circulation Desk or the Lewis Library Circulation Desk.

OCLC Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing Program

Faculty have access to the collections of all participating members of the OCLC Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing Program. An OCLC borrower identification card is required for access to member institutions. To obtain a card, please visit the Lewis Library Circulation Desk or the Cudahy Library Circulation Desk.

If you are planning to visit a Loyola library location from a member institution, please bring your OCLC borrower identification card along with the other items listed in our Access & Usage Policy. InfoPass

Both Cudahy Library and Lewis Library participate in the InfoPass Program, a Chicago metro area reciprocal network.

The intent of InfoPass is to aid researchers conducting work in libraries where public access is restricted. An InfoPass may be issued from any participating Chicago library for research material not available at the originating library but available at Cudahy Library or Lewis Library.

Prior to issuing an InfoPass, the referring library must certify that the researcher is eligible to use InfoPass, as well as the specific research materials they wish to use. Please contact the Libraries in advance by phone to confirm that we have the materials and can provides access to them.

To access materials at Cudahy Library or Lewis Library:

  • In person at the library circulation desk, complete an original InfoPass form, including the specific titles of materials you wish to access.  Please bring a valid, government-issued photo ID.
  • InfoPass visitor hours are from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. (No appointment is required.)
  • An InfoPass form is valid for a one-time visit only at either Cudahy Library or Lewis Library.
