Quick Setup
Installation takes a few minutes:
- Download the extension: Visit libkeynomad.com and select your browser
- Select your organization: Choose “Loyola University Chicago” during setup
Once installed, the extension works automatically in the background, providing access notifications as you browse scholarly websites.
How It Works
When you visit a page containing articles or resources available through Loyola’s subscriptions, the LibKey Nomad Browser Extension will show:
- Direct PDF links when full-text is available through library subscriptions
- Access notifications showing alternative access options if content isn’t immediately available
- Open access alerts for freely available versions of articles
- Interlibrary loan connections for materials not in our collection

Note: The extension is not available for mobile devices or tablets due to browser app limitations.
