Book Return Locations

Lake Shore Campus
You can return library books to the book drop located next to the doors on the west side of Cudahy Library (across from Dumbach Hall). You can also use the book drop located in the foyer of the Information Commons during opening hours.

Water Tower Campus
When the Corboy Law Center is open, you can use the book drop located in the lobby.

Digital Collections

Access primary sources from the history of Loyola and the Chicago area, as well as other topics of importance to the University.  View special collections from:

Research and Learning Services

Looking for help with research or classroom instruction? The University Libraries offers a variety of ways to connect with a librarian for one-on-one assistance as well as library instruction sessions for the classroom.  

For real-time help from a librarian or library staff use our Ask a Librarian Chat Service.

You can also request a Research Appointment with a library subject specialist. 

Faculty interested in setting up a library instruction session can use the Classroom Instruction Request form or contact your subject specialist to make an appointment.

Request Forms

Many library services can be requested through various forms found on the library website. Please refer to the following forms for specific requests: 

  • You can request a Librarian to purchase particular books for our collection via the Purchase Request form

  • Use the Course Reserve form to place items on reserve for a class.

  • For DVD and/or Streaming Movie Purchase requests, please contact our Media Services Librarian via email at lib-av@luc.edu
