To use Brand Catalyst

1. After opening MRI Simmons, make sure that you are on the 2.0 version of the page.

2.Under the Profile menu, select Brand Catalyst

Click  Brand Catalyst

3.Type in the name of your brand/company and select the options under Brand Catalyst. Please note that your company may fall under different categories. Select the one that is most appropriate for your needs.

  1. Select BRAND_CONSUMER for details about the consumer profile for your brand.
  2. You may also select PROSPECT or NON_PROSPECT if you are researching potential consumers.

4. Click Create to generate a consumer report based on your brand.

MRI/Simmons: Quick Reports

To Use Quick Reports
  1. Open MRI/Simmons and go to the Dashboard. Make sure you're on 2.0. 
  2. On the Profile tab, click on Quick Reports

  3. Click on the Composer button to begin setting up a profile for your consumer.

  4. Use the composer to set up your product and your profile. For example:  
( (Adults)  OR  (Men)  OR  (Women)  AND Food products: Regular Tea/Brand/ Total Users Used In Last 6 Months (Bigelow OR Lipton Regular Tea OR Twinings) )

  1. Click Create to generate a report.
  2. You can now generate a report based on demographics, locations, and other criteria.

MRI/Simmons: Crosstab Reports

To Use CrossTab Reports
  1. Open MRI/Simmons and go to the Dashboard. Make sure you're on 2.0. 
  2. Under Analyze, select Crosstab Reports
  3. Similar to Quick Reports and Brand Catalyst, use the dictionary and definitions to select relevant criteria and click Run Report

  4. The results of your query will be displayed on the next screen. An Index higher than 110 indicates that a group is more likely to meet specific criteria. In the example below, members of Gen Z (index value: 127) are more likely to own an iPhone whereas Late Boomers (index value: 115) are more likely to own an Android.
